Selena Gomez and The Weeknd break up after 10 months

The duo who started dating in January have decided to go their separate ways, and it was a decision that was a long time coming.

The split comes after multiple recent sightings of Gomez and ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber hanging out. Last week, Gomez was seen coming and going from Bieber’s house, and they were spotted together again on Sunday grabbing breakfast and heading to church.

"It's been hard for them to come to the realization that this is the direction things were heading, but it's been hard for months," says a source. "They have been open and honest about it and where they were going. Distance definitely played a factor."
