Phone Wars: Xiaomi unveils the new Xiaomi 17, 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max as Android's answer to Apple iPhone 17 series

 

Xiaomi has launched its latest flagship series. The Xiaomi 17 series includes the base Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. 

If you are wondering why these names sound similar, the Chinese phonemaker had previously stated its intentions to compete directly against the iPhone 17 series. However, the Xiaomi 17 series does not rely on just the name, the devices do pack a punch.

The most prominent feature in Xiaomi’s flagship devices is the secondary rear display, called the ‘Dynamic Back Display.’ This display is available only on the 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max. The display fills the entirety of the camera module, which otherwise looks similar to the camera plateau in the iPhone 17 Pro models.
