Linkin Park's lead singer Chester Bennington dies at 41

Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington has committed suicide at age 41. Linkin Park bandmate Mike Shinoda tweeted "shocked and heartbroken, but it's true. An official statement will come out as soon as we have one."

Bennington struggled with drug and alcohol addictions at various times during his life. He spoke openly about both, as well as about being molested by an older man when he was a child. Bennington was married and is survived by six children.
